Don’t Give The Devil The Right To Steal Peace From The Earth

God exercises His sovereignty on earth in partnership with the Church, which is the extension of His kingdom.

Through this partnership, His will and kingdom influence are enforced on earth.

As the spiritual house of prayer for all nations, the Church engages God’s peace through Word-based and Spirit-energized prayers.

By interceding for nations and those people in positions of authority, the Church creates an environment where God’s kingdom can expand.

Peace enables the Gospel to spread without unnecessary resistance(Mark 11:15-17; Jeremiah 29:7; 1 Timothy 2:1-4).

However, when the Church shirks or neglects its responsibility, peace is withdrawn, leading to devastating consequences—political instability, war, social divisions, hatred, spiritual decline, and widespread suffering.

These conditions create obstacles that hinder the spread of the Gospel.

A striking example of this is found in the Book of Revelation, where the powers of darkness were granted permission to steal peace from the earth.

“Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword” (Revelation 6:4).

Notice that authority was granted to the forces of darkness to steal peace. This raises a crucial question: Who gives the enemy permission to take peace from the earth?

The answer is clear—it is the Church, when it fails in its God-given responsibility.
