Avram Ben Moshe Debating
The world is full of surprises. A bad person today can become a good person tomorrow and a good person today can become a bad person tomorrow.
A blasphemer and critic of Jesus Christ, the gospel, the Bible and the Church today can become a labourious preacher of same tomorrow.
This may seem impossible in the eyes of men, but with God it is possible (Matthew 19:26). The God of the Bible is able to turn injurious people into saints so He exercises greater patience in condemning sinners.
You see, God’s long suffering or patience is an expression of His unique, unconditional love. Christ Jesus rarely answers His critics or persecutors in the same manner they speak. He knows their ignorance so He prays that they may be forgiven.
He loves sinners but hates their sins. He does not delight in the death of sinners; He wants them saved. It is for this reason Christ Jesus died for our salvation while we were yet sinners through the love of God, the Father (Romans 5:8).
A blasphemer, a persecutor of the Church, a critic of the Bible, the gospel and a mocker of Jesus Christ is a sinner. He is an unbeliever, a lost soul. He is the one Christ Jesus came into the world to seek and save (Luke 19:10).
Avram Ben Moshe, who calls himself a religious debater and leader of a so-called Common Sense Family (CSF) in Ghana ridicules, chides, mocks, scoffs at and criticises everything related to Christianity.
However, people must know that God’s love is greater towards sinners. By His mercy and grace, God can save Ben Moshe and others. God works in mysterious ways.
God looked on while Paul aka Saul ravaged the earliest Church by getting the preachers arrested and beaten, opposing the preaching of the gospel, thereby destroying the Church.
Yet, a time for his eternal salvation came when the Lord Jesus appeared to him supernaturally, leading to his conversion and call as an apostle to preach the very gospel he was seeking to destroy.
The same dramatic and supernatural turn-around can happen to the Ghanaian religious debater and everyone who works against the advancement of the gospel around the world.
You must therefore, be wise when listening to them. Hold on to your faith in Christ Jesus. Do not reject Jesus Christ on the account of their words. Understand and know that they are men who can repent of their sins, be saved and transformed for the glory of God.
