Christianity in Africa is under serious coordinated satanic attacks aimed at overthrowing the faith of believers and eventually depopulating churches.
Evil forces of darkness operating through false ministers, atheists, humanists, social commentators and presenters, using social media have launched unrelenting verbal attacks on Christianity in Africa in the past few years.
They ridicule the Bible, rubbish the gospel, scorn and dishonour the name of Jesus Christ, insult pastors and abuse street preachers.
Many have openly vowed to do everything possible to collapse Christianity in Africa and restore the continent to its former Traditional religion which is tantamount to idol worship.
But can Satan and his agents collapse Christianity in Africa? Certainly not! The gates of hades shall not prevail against Church of Christ. When Saul and his ilk decided to destroy the Church in Jerusalem in the first-century, Jesus told him that “it is hard for you to kick against the goads” (Acts 26:14).
God is supreme, powerful and greater than he that is in the world. His Kingdom is unconquerable and indestructible. Thus, winning a fight against the Church of God in any part of the world is possible only when God permits it to achieve His divine purpose.
Yes, God is not unaware of the war being waged against His church in Africa. He has allowed the attacks on the Church for divine purpose of shaking it to reveal Christians who are genuine and those who are fake.
Understand that several magicians, herbalists, spiritualists, diviners, necromancers and other false ministers have sneaked into the Body of Christ in Africa deceiving and exploiting unsuspecting believers.
These counterfeit ministers never abide in the doctrine of Christ, they never preach the gospel to save souls except to amass wealth. Consequently, they sell concoctions to their members at high prices.
Their ministries have therefore created controversies across Africa thereby influencing many people to leave the church and making it unattractive to thousands of youth in the continent.
In his book, “The Prophetic Ministry”, Rick Joyner points out that “The Lord allows controversy because it helps to purify the ministry He is raising up.”
“First, controversy helps to correct the mistakes and extremes that inevitably come with the restoration of every truth and ministry. It also separates those who are seeking to identify with the new movement of selfish ambition”, he says.
Joyner adds that, “Likewise, controversy helps to bring purity by removing the cowards… Cowardice has no place in the Kingdom of God, for true faith is characterised by courage.”
Finally, he states that, “The Lord uses controversy as a means of separating the fearful and unbelieving from His work.”
As already indicated, Christianity in Africa today is characterised by controversies through the immoral and unbiblical activities of false ministers. But God is in control to achieve His divine purpose through them.
