God has already prepared and laid up abundant resources in His heavenly storehouse to meet every spiritual, physical, material, and emotional need. Everything required for life, godliness, and the fulfilment of divine purpose flows from Him.
For God’s people on earth to receive what He releases from His heavenly storehouse, the heavens must be open. An open heaven grants access to the fullness of God’s provision and enables the uninterrupted flow of His grace and blessing.
Under the Law, God’s covenant people—the Israelites—experienced an open heaven only when they walked in obedience. When they rebelled or sinned against God, the heavens above them were shut, and divine supply was hindered.
Under grace, however, all who come to Christ experience an open heaven in Him. Through His redemptive work, heaven has been permanently opened over the believer’s life. In Christ, we live, pray, and serve under an open heaven—not conditionally, but covenantally.
Under an open heaven, we enjoy unhindered access to all of God’s resources in His heavenly storehouse—a continual and free flow of divine provision made available through our union with Christ.
