My name is James Quansah, a Journalist, Pastor and Author with academic training in communication, theology and management.
I believed in Jesus Christ decades ago; I still believe in Him and live by the teachings of the Bible.
Some unbelievers with atheistic mindset say hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ, living by faith in Him and praying to God impair one’s ability to reason and think logically.
They say this without providing any scientific evidence to support their claims.
Thus, it is obvious that they speak just to abuse the minds of gullible people so as to influence them to reject Christ Jesus and become like them.
But their argument is based on pure lies. Remember that the father of all unbelievers is the devil who is a liar from the beginning (John 8:44).
Now, I and billion other people who believed in Jesus Christ after hearing the gospel, pray daily and live by faith have rather had our ability to reason sharpened.
Also, the Word of God through the Holy Spirit is gradually but surely changing us into a better people and training us every day to do good works.
Besides, we have received peace of heart, hope, wisdom and above all eternal salvation.
Of course, sometimes, as humans we make mistakes as we learn to live steadily in this unsteady world with daily temptations, but the Lord disciplines and helps us back onto the sound track of godly life.
Christ Jesus’ promise is: “I will not leave or forsake you” (Matthew 28:20). And truly the Lord has not left us as He sees us through life’s challenges.
Friend, do not be deceived by the empty words of unbelievers. Believe in Jesus Christ today, and you will testify of His goodness in your life. Stay blessed in Christ Jesus!
