“He felt sorry for them and healed those who were sick” (Matthew 14:14, NCV).
If you’re wondering, “How can I be sure God is willing to heal me?”, read this: “A man with leprosy came to Jesus and knelt down. He begged, “You have the power to make me well, if only you wanted to.”
Jesus felt sorry for the man. So he put his hand on him and said, “I want to! Now you are well.” At once the man’s leprosy disappeared, and he was well” (Mark 1:40-42, 45, CEV).
Not only is God willing to heal us, but He responds to our sickness and suffering with compassion.
“Jesus] left in a boat and went to a lonely place by himself. But the crowds heard about it and followed him on foot from the towns. When he arrived, he saw a great crowd waiting. He felt sorry for them and healed those who were sick” (Matthew 14:13-14, NCV).
One day two blind men were sitting on the roadside when they heard that Jesus was passing by. Immediately they cried out: ‘”Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”…Jesus…said, “What do you want me to do for you?”
They answered, “Lord, we want to see.” Jesus felt sorry for the blind men and touched their eyes, and at once they could see. Then they followed Jesus’” (Matthew 20:30, 32-34, NCV).
Has Jesus’ power diminished? No. Does He have less compassion towards His redeemed children today than He had for the multitude back then?
No. So, come to him with confidence, praying and believing for your healing.
