We have been focusing on Corporate Revival, where we explored key topics such as Praying for Revival in the Church, Preparing the Way for Revival — Parts 1 and 2, and Keeping the Fire of Revival Burning, also in two parts.
Thereafter, we shifted our focus to Personal Revival, diving into teachings such as Recognising the Need for Personal Revival, The Path to Personal Revival, Becoming a Vessel of Revival in Your Generation, and Positioning Yourself as a Vessel of Revival.
We are now turning our attention to the next phase: the major moves of God. These moves are strategic workings of the Holy Spirit that will prepare the Church — the Bride — for the coming King and empower her for the end-time harvest of souls.
“. . . He shall come to us as the rain, like the latter and former rain to the earth.”
(Hosea 6:3)
In this prophetic promise, we are assured that the Lord shall come to us as the rain — both the former and the latter rain.
The prophet Joel confirms this and reveals the season in which it will occur (Joel 2:23). From Peter’s defence on the day of Pentecost, we understand that the rain refers to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:14–17).
The good news is that God has promised to give us both the former and the latter outpouring of the Spirit in the same season—the first month on His calendar (Joel 2:23).
This will guarantee a great end-time global revival, the restoration of all things, and the greater glory that will be revealed in the Church (Acts 3:19–21; Haggai 2:8–9).
As we prepare our hearts for the moves of God, let us remain sensitive to the workings of the Holy Spirit. The rain is not just a symbol—it is a divine promise of refreshing, empowering, and transformation.
The Lord is coming to His Church as the rain—both the former and the latter rain—to equip us for the end-time harvest and to reveal His glory through us.
