Failing to renew our minds to the goodness of God, as illuminated in His Word, hinders the complete enjoyment and manifestation of His desired blessings.
We need to understand that the more we magnify God’s goodness, the more His goodness will be magnified in our lives. We can’t fully enjoy or experience the goodness that God desires to pour into our lives or manifest in every area of our lives when we fail to renew our minds to the goodness of God as revealed in His Word.
Unfortunately, we’ve inadvertently given access to the enemy in magnifying his works, allowing him dominion over our lives. It’s essential to remember that whoever or whatever you magnify gains access to your life.
Let’s, therefore, immerse ourselves in these scriptures to expand our capacity to receive God’s goodness. Faith begins where the will of God is known.
Psalm 119:68
68 You are good, and you do good…
Psalm 31:19
19 Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!
Psalm 84:11
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
Jeremiah 32:40-41
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them to do them good… 41 Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good . . .
God, under the New Covenant, promises an unceasing outpouring of His goodness. It is the Father’s earnest desire for us to be saturated with His goodness (Romans 15:14).
